Greetings!I'm Oleh

I build software engineered to perfection.

10+ years deep in the web, from high-load platforms to real-time IoT dashboards, and years of mobile apps on top. I'm language-agnostic: the problem picks the tool, not the other way round. And nothing makes my day like a new, hard challenge.

My Personal Challenges

Before we go on…

A little about me

I'm not just the tech guy. I love to travel, get lost in a forest for a day, and stare at mountains, even though I've barely been on a real hike yet. And I love good hardware: the kind you want to open up just to see how it's made.

Where I've been

The road so far, from the first lecture to today. Pick a stop to see what I did there.

  1. Since 2013

    Kyiv Polytechnic Institute

MSc, power generation & control systems

Relay protection and automation: systems that have to work every single time.

  2. Since 2016

    Freelance

    QA, Frontend2 projects

Where it started: testing other people's products, then building my own frontends for small clients.

  3. Since 2018

    SoftServe

    Fullstack Engineer6 projects

Enterprise web platforms: from my first production Angular to leading teams, shared libraries and team processes.

  4. Since 2023

    Watson Title Services

    Fullstack Engineer

Closing-cost calculators for US real-estate agents, where every number has to be exactly right.

  5. Since 2023

    Stella Sun Studio

    Fullstack Engineer

An online store for illustrated gifts, end to end: storefront, backend, design system and AWS.

  6. Since 2025

    Beetroot

    Technical Lead5 projects

Leading product teams on client platforms: architecture, Storybook design systems, real-time features and team processes.

  7. Since 2026

    Wise Water

    Lead Mobile & Fullstack Engineer

The mobile app for smart water treatment, plus Dynamo and Orion for the factory, built from scratch.

Fun fact: I rebuilt my first PC at eight. More about me →

From idea to production

Every project goes through the same ten steps with me, and none of them is someone else's problem. Keep scrolling to follow the signal.

  1. 1. PlanningBefore a line of code: what we solve, for whom, and what done looks like. Then I cut the work into small pieces that can ship on their own.
  2. 2. ProcessesReview standards, branching, release flow, how the team talks. I design the way we work like any other feature, and keep improving it.
  3. 3. ArchitectureClear boundaries, predictable state, boring abstractions. Shaped so the next feature is assembly, not a rewrite.
  4. 4. UI/UX designI design the flows and screens myself, then turn them into a design system with tokens, so design and code speak one language.
  5. 5. AnimationsMotion that explains what just happened: transitions, feedback, micro-interactions. Smooth, light on the GPU, and calm when you ask for less motion.
  6. 6. InfrastructureEnvironments, CI/CD, monitoring and cost on AWS. The cloud is shaped to fit the app, not the other way round.
  7. 7. DevelopmentLanguage-agnostic: Angular, React, Flutter, Node, Python, whatever fits the problem. Typed, readable code the next person can own.
  8. 8. Self-checkNobody sees my work before I have broken it myself: unit and E2E tests where they pay off, and a real click-through of every flow.
  9. 9. The grindThe weird bug nobody can reproduce, the last 10% of polish, the release that has to go out tonight. I stay with it until it works.
  10. 10. Hard problemsReal-time data, real hardware, unclear requirements. The harder the task, the more I want it.
  11. Production

What I work with

Framework-agnostic by mindset: tools are picked per problem. Bold ones are my daily drivers.

Frontend

My home turf. Deep Angular expertise, large-scale apps, state-heavy and performance-critical UIs.

  • Angular
  • TypeScript
  • RxJS
  • Signals
  • React
  • Next.js
  • Vue
  • SCSS
  • Tailwind
  • AG Grid

Mobile

Cross-platform apps talking to real hardware in real time.

  • Flutter
  • Dart
  • Riverpod

Backend

Services with clean API contracts that stay cheap to run.

  • Node.js
  • NestJS
  • Python
  • FastAPI
  • Django

Cloud

Shaping AWS infrastructure so it fits the application, not the other way round.

  • AWS
  • AWS Lambda
  • S3
  • CloudFront
  • Cognito
  • IoT Core
  • Terraform

Data

Picking the store for the access pattern: documents, relations or time series.

  • PostgreSQL
  • DynamoDB
  • MongoDB
  • Firebase
  • Aurora
  • Timestream

Design

Component libraries that let several teams ship in parallel without stepping on each other.

  • Storybook
  • Figma
  • Storybook MCP

Testing

Unit and end-to-end tests where they pay off, and a self-check of every flow before anyone else sees it.

  • Playwright
  • Cypress
  • Jest
  • Vitest

Delivery

Pipelines and release flow that make shipping boring, in a good way.

  • GitHub Actions
  • Docker
  • GitLab CI
  • CodeBuild / CodePipeline
  • Jenkins
